Tampere University Dissertation database contains 1450 dissertations since 1999. Approximately 90 percent of them, at the moment 1214 dissertations are also published on the net as pdf files.

In September 2005 a device was installed in dissertations published on the net which shows how frequently pdf files were downloaded.
